Application Instructions

1. Make an appointment for a tour
2-Take the tour
3-Complete Application
4-Sign the rental agreement/contract
5-Apply for the licensing you need for your business, do not apply until you have the contract signing

You must take the tour first.
Potential kitchen/office clients need to make an appointment to tour the facility and meet with the Coordinator. Kitchen tours are held Mondays at 6:00 PM and Wednesdays at 11:30 AM. Office tours are by appointment only.

After seeing the facility and reviewing your business plan, the Coordinator Kathrine Gregory will determine your readiness. Your eligibility after submission is based upon the following basic requirements:

Application
“Business Roadmap” – a series of questions that will help build your business plan
Certificate of Insurance including Worker’s Compensation will be required at contract signing
Proof of Business Registration and Tax EIN number
Emergency contact information
Copy of the Food Handler’s Certificate (kitchen clients only)
State Sales Tax Authority Permit

Email the entire application (the answers to the road map section and the accompanying documents required) to MiKitchen1866@aol.com

The entire process takes approximately 14 days from receipt of the completed application. Clients need to sign a license agreement and provide a refundable deposit.

There is no application fee though in some cases a credit check will be required. Clients are accepted all year long.
